Men's Hard Shell Waterproof Mountain Pant

PROTECTION, PERFORMANCE, VERSATILITY

A severe condition hard shell pant for alpinists, ski touring and winter climbers. Drop seat and full-length side zips add comfort and versatility.

Made from Jöttnar SKJOLDR™. The windproof, waterproof, breathable fabric for severe weather protection and durability.

Features include: an integrated RECCO® Rescue System diode and antenna-based passive transponder; a drop seat for convenience; full-length, fully separating water-repellent leg zips for easy on/off over boots and crampons; articulated and reinforced knees and seat for durability; internal tightly sealing powder gaiters to keep out snow; detachable braces; and Kevlar™ instep protectors for durability and protection against crampons. 

Latest updates include: Kevlar™ instep protectors now covering entire hem circumference; no-slip brace buckles; re-orientated hip pockets for easier under-harness access; integrated RECCO® Rescue System reflector for improved safety.

Quality Product - Yet to be tested. 5-7", 80Kg, went for large

Bought these pants due to the great reviews I read and the fact they have all the features (and more) of products almost double the price. I am 5'7" and went for the large. With my Sportiva's the fit is great.
The main use for this product will be on climbs over 6,000m in India and Nepal this year. Given the clear quality of material and construction, I am sure they will perform well - more to follow and upgrade of score from 4 to 5

I used these last week in seriously harsh conditions in Chamonix alpine climbing. I had snow up to my hips in places and these kept me dry. I wore over a RCRV softshell. The quality is unreal. And the abrasive material at the bottom does work to protect the trousers from crampons. And they look great! Alongside the Thorne and Floyen. Looked the part. I measured but the Medium was too tight. Jottnar took it upon themselves to send the Large i ordered separately on next day as i needed them urgently. Didn’t even have to ask. Amazing service and was greatly appreciated! I would recommend if in deep snow like i was, having gaiters too.
